Did you know that, as from 1 October 2007, a summary of the rights and obligations in relation to leasehold properties must accompany your service charge invoice?

Section 153 of the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002 came into effect from this date and all service charge invoices relating to payments due on or after 1 October 2007 muct be accompanied by a summary of your legal rights. Property owners may withold their service charge payment if this information is not provided.
